I had the good fortune of meeting Pic (Richard) and Sarah through a group meditation class in 2011. I helped them for a little bit at the end of that season, and life brought us back together the following summer. I needed a place to stay after I decided to take some time off from a relationship and they needed extra hands to help work the land....and I can say that was the perfect combination!
Working with them has been a great experience. They are committed persons with the biggest hearts and generosity I have probably ever met. They have the best sense of humor, that creates a relaxed and harmonious work environment. The farm is very organized and committed to the community that they are part of.
I could write for hours about Wabi Sabi, the little rustic and homey cabin where you can see the most spectacular sunrises and enjoy the peace of the farm style life. Wabi Sabi is equipped with everything you need to live a healthy, simple and full life.
True North Farms is a very special place, a combination of the land and the people that makes that happen. It is a place for healing, learning and sharing.
